Wallpaper invited Studio Waldemeyer to celebrate the latest concept car ‘Les File Rouge’ with an elaborate photoshoot under a custom made light installation. We love to play with photography and so we gave the brief a little twist and constructed a large scale light painting machine.
Moving a chain of LEDs with computer controlled winches allowed us to generate complex sculptural surfaces in the photographs. The result is of a delicacy and quality that far surpassed our own expectations and thrilled the client with the pure magic of the creative process.
