GEORG BALDELE’S LATERNS ADORNED THE TABLES OF THE NSPCC CHARITY EVENT AT THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL

Designed as a modern take on the candle, this lantern’s integrated LED lights were programmed to recreate the movement of a flame using a complex software algorithm.

The project’s low budget demanded a unique design solution: rather than hiding the printed circuits, they were exposed as a design feature, revealing a minimalist and elegant board layout.

The natural movement of the animated LEDs give the Lantern a modern yet classic elegance.
